Situated on a huge 250 acre site, there’s plenty of blissful Cheshire countryside at your disposal, laying in wait for you to experience some seriously epic muddy thrills! Cribbs Causeway Joins Quad Nation!

Quad Nation HQ are always on the lookout for the latest venues offering nothing but the greatest four-wheeled action, and our Cribbs Causeway venue is certainly no exception! So, let’s not delay any further, it’s time to tell you all about it!

Located on a wonderful site within reach of Bristol City Centre, you’ll find that there’s an abundance of dirt tracks and woodlands which makes your Quad Biking experience all the more immersive! There’s no need to worry if you’ve never experienced Quad Biking before, it’s an activity that’s highly beginner-friendly. You won’t be blasting around at top speeds, but our specially designed Quad Biking venue delivers nothing less than a truly epic mud-filled adventure!

After being provided with a full safety briefing and full instruction from one of our friendly staff members, it’s then up to you to get to grips with the controls, taking on our basic skills course. From then on, it’s time for you to experience muddy thrills as you work your way across a variety of challenging terrains. But, don’t worry, our beastly machines will handle them all no trouble! At the end of your session, you’ll get the chance to take in a ‘Successful Handling Skills and Trek Achieved’ presentation!

January’s Venue of the Month is Quad Biking Kendal!

Want to know the good thing about this terrible weather we’ve had over Christmas? Our Quad Biking venue’s got a lot muddier! With so many adrenaline-seeking petrol heads taking advantage of this chaotic weather, we’ve had an overflow of amazing reviews – especially for our January Quad Biking venue of the month, Kendal!

Spread across 300-acres, our Quad Biking venue in the heart of the Lake District has been home to non-stop action over the Christmas period! This Quad Biking experience allows you to get behind the wheel of our super powerful Yamaha 350cc Grizzly quads, a vehicle capable of reaching top speeds in a matter of seconds.

Those top speeds aren’t hugely necessary though, you’ll be more reliant on the robust nature of the Quads as you aim to overcome the muddy bogs, the high angle hills and the challenging bumpy woodland tracks that aim to remove you from the comfort of your seat! This gigantic venue is sure to provide you with an immense amount of challenges and a mud-filled day out that you and your group are bound to love!

Can you believe it’s less than two weeks until Christmas?! ..and we still haven’t started our Christmas shopping yet!

What can we say, we’ve tried to be productive, but when it comes to Christmas shopping it just hasn’t happened. We have managed to do some research ahead of the big day though, and we’ve been busy trying to identify the different types of Christmas shopper – know your enemey and all that.. 😉

So without further ado here they are, the five types of Christmas shopper..

The Trolley Dasher

Let’s face it, we’ve all done it. You’ve left things too late and before you know it you’re charging round the supermarket stuffing anything and everything into your trolley. Merry Christmas mum, here’s that shower gel you always wanted.

The Super Shopper

The super shopper is the exact opposite of The Trolley Dasher, they did their shopping months ago and they’ve had it wrapped since September. The only thing they enjoy more than being outrageously organised is telling everybody just how organised they are.

The Let Somebody Else Do It-er

If this is you you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is about. As far as you’re concerned the presents buy themselves, wrap themselves and magically find their under the tree. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

The One Day Wonder

Deep down we all hate Christmas shopping, but The One Day Wonder really hates Christmas shopping, and that’s why they’re not coming home until they’ve bought every last present. It could take 2 hours, it could take 12, as long as it’s done in a single day they really don’t care.

The Christmas Crafter

Everybody knows a Christmas crafter. They’re the type of people who watched Kirsty’s Handmade Christmas (great show by the way) and thought, yeah I can do that. Well, we hate to be the ones to break it to you, but you can’t! We don’t want your homemade Christmas chutney, we don’t want your knitted baubles, and unless you’re six years old we don’t want you to make our presents. Sorry.

Men – What We Really Want For Xmas..

We don’t want to panic anybody but we’ve just scoffed the fourth choccy from our advent calendar and had a horrible thought..

No, not that we’re piling on the pounds already, something much scarier than that. There are only 21 days until Christmas!

It’s OK, there’s no need to panic, we’re guessing you’ve got most of your shopping done by now right? What! There’s still one person you’re stuck with. Let us guess it’s a bloke.. don’t worry we’ve got this, here’s what us fellas really want for Christmas..

A box set..

It could be his favourite action movies, it could be the latest Hollywood blockbuster, but whatever you choose you just can’t beat a box set. Christmas is the perfect time to spend as much time on the sofa as possible and with the right box set you won’t be moving for some time.

Quad biking kit..

Whether it’s for your dad, brother, boyfriend or husband, if they’re quad biking crazy they’ll love getting their hands on some new kit. Don’t worry we’re not expecting you to blow the bank and buy them a quad bike or anything, just some riding gloves or boots will do the job nicely.

Lots and lots of chocolate..

Stuffing yourself with as much chocolate as possible is a Christmas tradition and most blokes are more than happy to join the fun. There’s no such thing as too much chocolate, but if you’re really concerned about their expanding waist line you could always go for a chocolate orange. They count towards your five a day right?

A shiny new gadget..

Deep down most men are just big kids, and like kids what we really want for Christmas is the latest new toy. When it comes to gadgets they don’t even need to be expensive either, in fact usually the more pointless and likely to break they are the better!

Scientists Have Discovered The Perfect Christmas Present..

We’re going to go out on a limb here and say you probably can’t remember what you got for Christmas last year..

It’s OK, we don’t think anyone can! Unless you got something really awesome (like a Quad Nation voucher) the chances are it got stuck in a draw and forgotten about by Boxing Day!

Dr. Thomas Gilovich, a psychology professor from Cornell University in New York believes that experience gifts are more memorable because they have a greater impact on your life – and with 20 years worth of research to fall back on we’re not about to argue!

The doc’s got a point though, anybody who’s been lucky enough to blast through the countryside on a quad bike knows just how unforgettable it is.
