Hen Party Quad Biking Reviews

When my best friend asked me to organise her hen party I knew she wouldn't be interested in the traditional spa day stuff, so I booked a quad biking experience for her and eight of our friends. It might not seem like an obvious choice for a hen party, but the bride is a real petrol head and had been dropping hints about quad biking for ages, plus all that mud is great for your skin!

Even though none of us had been quad biking before we were all really excited about our quad biking experience, and luckily we didn't have to wait long. The day of the hen party soon came, and after meeting the rest of the girls at the venue we signed in and got changed into a pair of overalls which were provided by the site. Once we were kitted up we were shown how to drive the quads and given a full safety briefing from the instructor who led our trek.

Because this was our first quad biking experience the instructor gave us plenty of time to get used to driving the quads, which meant we were raring to go when it came to heading out on our trek. In total the trek lasted around an hour and the instructor led the way so we knew exactly how to tackle each obstacle. As you'd expect there was lots of mud, but that's what makes quad biking experiences so much fun! It wasn't just the mud we had to negotiate though, and as we worked our way through the countryside we climbed hills, weaved through woodland and crossed streams.

Our trek seemed to fly by, and even though we all really enjoyed our hour-long quad biking experience we'd have loved even more time out on the quad bikes. But at least that gives us the perfect excuse to give it another go! The bride-to-be was made up to finally try quad biking too, and despite my initial doubts I'm fully converted to quad biking too. Who'd have thought getting covered in mud could be so much fun?
