Here at Quad nation we love introducing people of all ages to the rush of quad biking, so we gave 10-year-old Jamie and his family the chance to take on a quad trek at our Skipton quad biking venue. Here’s how he got on..
On the day of our experience we got to the quad biking centre really early, so we had some lunch and some really nice chocolate cake. Because we were on a real-life farm we got to see loads of different animals too, and I even stroked a llama.
After lunch it was time to go quad biking, and because I’d been before I wasn’t nervous at all. The man who showed us how to drive the quads was really nice, and after I’d put my helmet and big gloves on I was ready for action.
The instructor took us all over the farm and we got to go really fast, which was really exciting. Their were some enormous cows in one field, and even though it was a bit scary it made everything even more fun. I think I must have been looking at them when I crashed though, but luckily it didn’t hurt and I carried on driving.
I really enjoyed going through the field of cows, but the best bit was going up all the hills and through the mud! I loved the woodland and quarry sections too, because they were really bumpy. Our quad biking experience was even more fun than I thought, and I’d love to do it again.”
